Hello there! We are Hooked on Books official and we simply cannot get enough of the written word. Each month we will be tackling books, be them old classics or new releases because we love to read and naturally we want to share that love with whoever we can.

We consist of two best friends, one who writes and one who presents and we both love to create. We are fresh out of university and filling up our time wisely by catching up on all the reading we’d been missing out on. So who exactly are we? The best way to explain is in our own words…

Elle

So, I’m Elle. Hello! I’m the “mature one” and the “childish one” all rolled into one 5 ft 10 inch woman. My personality reflects most evidently in my literary and film choices; you would most certainly find me hunting through the romance section for Nicholas Spark’s latest while also checking out the children’s section for the classic films from Sir Walt Disney. I hope that you become involved within our chosen stories and I hope you smile each time you visit us here at ‘Hooked on Books Official’.

I will confess that I am a huge geek, just so you don’t get surprised by my eclectic choices, and my predilection for YA novels and the fantasy genre. Despite this I do tend to read all manner of genres and am open to any recommendation. I am a writer. Yet unpublished but that will hopefully change when I finish my current baby. I also happen to enjoy painting, drawing, learning to sew…so in other words I like being creative. I am also incapable of writing a decent bio, mainly because I find it difficult to determine what about me needs to be set down in words. So, there you have it, most of my time is spent reading or writing or thinking about reading or writing. I hope my little posts about my reading habits keep you entertained and I look forward to hearing from you.
